The Ontario Engineering Competition Advisory Board (OECAB) is now looking for 3 students to sit on the Board as representatives. The Ontario Engineering Competition (OEC) is an annual competition hosted by a different accredited engineering school in Ontario every year. Competitors are challenged with tasks related to engineering design, communications, consulting, debate and programming. Winners then move on to compete at a national level at the Canadian Engineering Competition. This year’s OEC is being hosted at Ryerson University on February 5, 2015.

The OECAB is responsible for advising and overseeing the OEC Organizing Committee. There will be approximately 7 meetings a year where at least two of which should be face-to-face. Students who sit on the Advisory Board will be working with appointed industry partners, Deans of Engineering from host schools, the ESSCO President, Liam Morrow, and a CFES representative.

If interested in this opportunity, please contact Liam Morrow at president@essco.ca for more details.

Update: All student representatives positions have been filled. Thank you for your interest in the position.
